This is a competition for the strongest man in Nigeria and it’s a weightlifting sport competition where competitors are tasked with successfully completing a variety of strength-based activities. These activities include the truck pull, the sandbag toss, the deadlift, the log press and the farmer’s walk. As opposed to bodybuilders, who focus on aesthetic muscluclar appearance, the goal of Strogman athletes is solely to lift the most weight on a single rep or complete a challenge in the shortest amount of time. This is a male event and will hold in Port Harcourt, with the specific dates in October 2023 as dates for the competition made available soon. The first prize for this competition will be ₦25,000, the second prize will be ₦15,000, the third prize will be ₦10,000 and the registration is free.
